A breathtakingly beautiful work of art, a labor of love, literally. 
Wait for it. 


Divers have been mystified by the crop circles that appeared on the ocean floor. Intricate, geometric, circular sculptures of sand on the sea bed. 

Japanese scientists, Hiroshi Kawase, Yoji Okata & Kimiaki Ito, discovered, finally, what they were. The lowly pufferfish creates these marvelous works of art, a kind of mandala of love, making just the right place for their fertilized eggs.

The creations of the pufferfish are primordial in their beauty. They remind me of rose windows of stained glass and stone, of the crystalline structure of snowflakes and the geometry of mandalas.
